Assessment Mode

• Assessment Mode is available for self-paced Missions.

• Create or open a Mission that you want students to complete as an assessment.

• Assessment Mode is designed for reviewing student understanding rather than providing immediate feedback during the Mission.

Assessment Mode gives students one opportunity to enter each answer and allows them to submit the completed Mission for teacher review.

• One answer attempt: Students enter each answer once instead of receiving two chances in a normal Mission.

• No correctness feedback: Students do not see whether their answers are correct while completing the Mission.

• Answer review before submission: Students can change their answers before submitting the Mission.

• Mission reporting: After submission, the Mission appears in your Mission Report.

• Collaborative review: You can go over the test results together with students.

1. Edit the Mission you want to use.

2. Open Advanced Settings.

3. Select the Assessment Mode checkbox.

4. Select Launch or Save your Mission.

5. The Mission will appear in your students' list of Missions.

2. Open the Mission Report to view the submitted results.

3. Review the results with students and discuss their answers together.
