In an effort to provide students with math support, Knowledgehook has embedded Question Help into the student platform.
How it Works
Students can use the Question Help feature to request help when solving Knowledgehook math questions either through assigned missions from the teacher or through their SOLVE page.
If students have difficulty with a question and get it incorrect on their second try, students will be prompted with an option for Question Help, where they can request help with the click of a button.
When a student requests help with a question, their teacher is notified, and, if available, a video solution from the Question Help library is sent to the student’s account within an hours time.
When the student receives a video, they will receive a notification in their account that looks like this:
Question Help Videos
Question Help videos demonstrate a solution to a similar question, addressing common misconceptions with a thorough explanation of the solution. When teachers are notified after a student presses the question help button, they can choose to intervene at their discretion. You can access which students requested help and for which questions by clicking on the REPORTS page, then on the HELP REQUESTS tab.
The Question Help Video will remain visible to your students for the duration of the school year.
