To enhance the safety and security of all Knowledgehook users, we are implementing an important change in the class login process.
Registrations will be turned “OFF” by default for newly created classes - this is to prevent unauthorized access to Knowledgehook classes.
Manage new Registrations for your class within “Class Settings” - You can do so by navigating to your classes page and clicking on the hamburger menu.
Alternatively, click on the Gear icon when you are in the students page of your class.
You can find the Registration settings within your Class Settings on the main dashboard.
To let students create accounts with passwords, Enable “Registration” within Class settings.
Registrations can also be enabled while you add students to your class. To do this, click on “Add Students” on the students page.
In the “Add Students” modal, click “Students can create accounts” option to let to let students create accounts with passwords. You will see an alert message when Registration is OFF.
Once you click to enable, the alert message goes away. Registrations will be “ON” for the class until you go back and disable it.
Registrations can also be enabled as part of GameShow settings (under Advanced Settings). Please note that this change affects the overall class settings and not just the GameShows.
As a best practice we encourage you to close registrations as soon you have onboarded all of your students to your class.
