What is Knowledgehook?

Knowledgehook is a secure, online tool designed to provide useful information to help guide the next steps in instruction during the learning process.   In that regard, getting questions right is not necessarily the goal but rather to better understand your child’s thinking and to identify areas where they may need more support. 

As a parent, you can connect to your child’s account and be part of supporting that learning.

Connecting to your child's account 

When you are connected to your child's account you can get valuable information to help support your child's learning in math including the following: 

Reports from Activities

Teachers can send updates and reports on questions your child covered in class through emails.  These will give you a general overview of how your child did during that particular activity, but will not show the exact questions they answered. These emails are chosen by the teacher and may be sent regularly or intermittently at the teacher's discretion. 

*Connect your email to your child's Student account to receive updates from your child's teacher. Their teacher can send you updates even if you do not have a Knowledgehook Home account.

Educational Supports

When you have a Parent account with Knowledgehook Home, you can view the questions and access any worked examples in the assigned content so you or a tutor can go through it with your child. 

Cheer on Your Child's Milestones

When your child earns a milestone in class, you can choose from our selection of inspirational cheers (e-cards) to cheer them on! Sending a cheer is like adding a quick note in your child's lunch box. Your child will see your cheer the next time they log into their Student account.

How to create a Parent account and connect to your Child's Knowledgehook Student account

1. Register or create a Knowledgehook Home Account (this is an account for Parents)
2. Select a subscription plan for your child
3. Add your child's Student account

Now you're linked to your child's class! Once you're linked, you can access your Parent account either by:

1. Downloading the Knowledgehook Home App from the Google Play or Apple App Store, or 
2. Logging in via any web browser by going to knowledgehook.com and entering your email (login) and password.
