Why is data missing?
I am missing grade-level data on my dashboard - Why is this happening?
There are a few reasons this may occur:
- Are all of your teachers attached to your school? (see information below)
- Not enough data has been collected (40 questions need to be answered in a specific grade for data to be displayed)
- Is your teacher using Knowledgehook with their students?
Where is the data coming from?
All the data you see on your dashboard is coming from the classrooms that the teachers inside your school have created - if a teacher is missing from your dashboard list, their data is NOT showing up in your school.
What is the difference between Question Proficiency and Readiness to Learn tabs?
Question Proficiency is current grade level results as students complete work in their assigned grade they are populating data onto your dashboard.
Readiness to learn is prior grade level results as students complete Knowledgehook built-in diagnostic ( Warm-Ups or Assess Prior Knowledge activities) they are populating data onto your dashboard.
*Some things to keep in mind about these dashboards:
- they do not include teacher-created or edited questions
- they do not include EQAO questions
- If students are designated to the incorrect grade level and assigned correct grade level work, they will not show up in the data set - grade designation and assigned activities need to align in order for data to be pulled.

How do my teachers access the built-in math support resources?
There are three points where teachers can access support resources through Knowledgehook.
- Before instruction through the lightbulbs either on the activities page or through viewing individual questions (instructions available here)
- Post assessment through their reports and focus areas notifications (instructions available here)
- An email will be sent later in the evening to the teachers letting them know which students have struggled on the assessment.
Where do I access the built-in math support resources?
You can access them like a teacher would if you have a teacher role (see above instructions).
Or you can access them through your school dashboard. By accessing the most granular level of the dashboard and clicking on the light bulb next to the topic area. (instructions available here)
